This has been a godsend during the pandemic. As a long time Chicago history fan, I still learn something new every episode. Well researched & presented!

As a 14-year resident of the city, I LOVE Chicago, and am fascinated with its history. Tommy does a great job of feeding me with some tidbits about my home. What I dig about this podcast: 1) it's short (not that I mind long podcasts!), so if I want a quick listen, I have it!, and 2) the topics are varied.

Excellent radio voice and music pairings. Some wry/dry humor and interesting tidbits for anyone who loves the city. I pop the podcasts on when meal prepping or during my commute and it’s very soothing.

In the spirit of Bowery Boys this Chicago History podcast takes us to Chicago’s landmarks and the stories behind them. Nicely produced and narrated.

I was born in Chicago but now I live on the other side of the world. Tommy paints pictures of Chicago’s past that bring me closer to home and to my youth. Thanks for bringing Chicago to Vietnam!

I started listening to this podcast on my morning commute a few weeks ago. The soothing and naturally buttery voice of Tommy Henry (no last name?) as well as the intriguing and detailed storytelling certainly make for an enjoyable ride in to work at Panda Express Corporate Offices. It’s the highlight of my morning, I highly recommend this podcast for weekday commuting or sipping a Redd’s Peach Ale by my above-ground pool on the weekend. 5 Stars!

I love Chicago and have always wanted to hear the stories not commonly told. This definitely does that. Started listening on my walks and I’m surprised at the quality for such a new podcast and love how soothing his voice is. Perfect for these strange stressful times.
